BIOGRAPHY KAMILLA BARD

The daughter of a successful Jazz pianist and bandleader, Kamilla Bard was born in the Russian town of Nizhniy Novgorod. Her musical talent was first discovered at the age of two.

When she was five, Kamilla began her musical career at a music school in her Russian hometown.

At just 14 years of age, she started her first degree at the M.A. Balakirev Music College, which she successfully completed.

In order to further her education she came to Germany, where she began her second degree under the tuition of Professor Andreas Pistorius at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim and graduated with the highest honours. As a student she took part several times in the music festival “FESTIVAL MITTE EUROPA” of the “Clara Wieck” Vogtland Conservatory in Plauen, as well as in master classes, in order to gather new creative inspiration and artistic experience.

She had already started to captivate her audience with her virtuoso piano playing from when she was a student. Kamilla offers a broad spectrum of piano compositions, from classical to modern light music.

Her musical repertoire increases day by day and now includes over 100 titles of jazz, pop, film, bar and lounge music.

Whether as a soloist or as part of an ensemble, on the concert stage or discreetly in the background – Kamilla is skilled in the art of bringing soulful melodies to life.

Singing has recently become a new way for her to communicate with the audience. Through delicate piano music and song, Kamilla is able to create a discreet and charming atmosphere. Her empathetic singing directly touches the hearts of its listeners.
